Hello!
As a User Experience (UX) researcher and designer with a background in communication, I am passionate about leveraging UX research and design to effectively communicate the value of services to users. I believe that UX research is the key to understanding users, while UX design is the channel to deliver value using various methods.
Prior to my transition to UX, I worked in business development and digital product management. In this role, I acted as a consultant, working closely with clients and stakeholders to bridge the gap between business requirements and users need. This experience has given me a unique perspective and cultivated my ability to view problems from different angles. Seeking to strengthen my problem-solving abilities, I decided to pursue a degree in Human Factors in Information Design at Bentley University.
During my UX projects in diverse industries such as healthcare, analytical instruments, e-commerce, and non-profit charity, I have honed my qualitative and quantitative skills in order to identify vivid users need and lay the foundation for effective solutions. Asking the right questions and maintaining a neutral attitude towards participants are crucial for discovering valuable insights, as demonstrated in projects, such as defining the UX problems in way-finding design of the Massachusetts courthouses, which led to a productive discussion and increased awareness among staffs.
In addition to my exceptional UX research skills, I possess the ability to take a holistic approach to problem-solving, which enables me to deliver solutions in different layers. For instance, I successfully launched a marketing plan for a start-up café by proposing UX strategies and recreating the structure of their social media content. Similarly, the redesign of the official website and return process of NorthFace resulted in greater transparency and awareness of their return service.
Outside of work, I enjoy Gyrokinesis, cooking, hiking, reading, and traveling. These enriching experiences sharpen my perception and bring fresh perspectives to my work.
